Statement
Inspired by images, photography becomes a tool to capture fragments of the world around me. Although a photograph may never be revisited, shapes, lines, and contrasts of light from these images reappear in the work. Paint, paper, canvas, and repurposed scraps serve as vessels for these visual memories. Through layering, reordering, and rebuilding, these fragments find their place, and a sense or order emerges from the seeming chaos — a balance that shapes both the work and my own sense of equilibrium.
I find beauty in the parts of the whole. My work is a reflection of these memories.
